  We went to look at the venue for a wedding. Everyone was so nice and helpful! It's a beautiful place and you can't beat all they offer. They even have the bar where Judy Garland had her last drink! Can't beat the character of this place!

  I visited Le Chambord to discuss potentially having them as our wedding venue. It is beautiful and currently my number one choice for our venue (we are still looking at a few more places before booking). The staff is lovely and the package is great if you're looking for a wedding venue. I recommend it.

  I thought about writing this review since I visited this place for Thanksgiving. I decided that for the sake of others I MUST do it. It is an utterly AWFUL place. We reserved a table in the actual Dining Room, not at the all-you-can-eat "buffet". The room brought long forgotten memories of communistic restaurants in remote corners of some Eastern European country. Dirty carpets, bombastic copies of paintings in even more bombastic frames, fireplace without fire, table settings in dingy white and in style of a Trans-Siberian railway station from the 50ties, dingy light, dirty windows and the obligatory half-dead plants of some kind in dirty pots. PLUS dollar-store-style tea lights in small dollar-store-style glass containers....which have been apparently saved for later, hence unlit. The food was indescribably bad: gluey sauces, mushy tomatoes, and the pinnacle of ALL: the turkey dinner plate. It consisted of greyish, dry slices of turkey, an entangled dark orange mass of some kind, which I think was a handful of glued together, formerly frozen sweet potatoes which have been fried in a frozen ball, as they came from the package, and stuck together, and a mass of additional THINGS, which we could not recognize, except for one. Cheap canned chestnuts, without any taste. Actually nothing tasted like food supposed to taste, it could be a dog food actually. It was cold too. The onion soup was clearly a masterpiece of dormitory-style cooking skills. Watery brown substance (package?) with the obligatory hard shell of cheap cheese on the top, tasteless and unpleasant to look at. By the way...we got a basket of "fresh" rolls too. They all looked like formerly frozen, ready made rolls and tasted accordingly to their appearance. Yeasty, grey mass, hardly backed in an oven. The place was cold and unpleasant. We all have been very hungry and we all eat a little of everything and left. It was a very sad Thanksgiving. I traveled to many countries and I visited hundreds of restaurants across the globe, but this place was the worst culinary mistake I ever made, just because I trusted the great pictures and info on Internet. Never again! This place doesn't deserve to have ANY stars, I would like to award them with a broom, a mob and a cookbook.
